What’s Your Re-Charging Super Power?
Staying calm and centred though the ups and downs of the year can be a challenge, and often we only have short windows of time to work with. We need to know how to build in small, achievable things that recharge us.
Enter Re-Charging Superpowers.
Your Re-Charging Superpowers are the things that make you feel the most re-charged for the least amount of time and effort. Big ticket items like weekends away are great when you can manage them, but what makes your Superpowers special is that they’re small, realistic things that have a big bang for buck.
This might involve music, the warmth of the shower, colouring, bare feet on the grass or feeling the warmth of the sun. They’re things that have the biggest impact on your wellbeing and energy. We’re all different, and so the same things wont appeal to all of us.
The key is knowing what works for you so you can weave these things into your life more easily and more often - and avoid things that feel like rest but are more like time wasters than re-chargers. (Think excessive time on social media or zoning out in front of Netflix. These things numb and distract rather than energise and recharge!)
